Synopsis
Concorde, the world's first supersonic airliner, triumphed over politics and technology to take air transport into a totally new dimension. This unique video charts the progress of this historic Anglo-French project. From drawing board through test pilots Trubshaw and Turcat's first flights in 1969 and into the next century at twice the speed of sound.
