Synopsis
An adaptation of the Stephen King short story of the same name, 'Survivor Type' follows a young surgeon shipwrecked on a tiny island in the Gulf of Mexico. With little to salvage beside scarce medical supplies and smuggled heroin, he bides his time until a series of misfortunes and the insanity of isolation bring him to unthinkable lengths to survive. Memories and madness wade in and out of his mind as he struggles to survive.
