Ana Maria Magalhães, literary name of Ana Maria Bastos de Oliveira Martinho GOIH (Lisbon, April 14, 1946), is a Portuguese writer, mainly directed to children's literature. It is mainly known for having written the collection Uma Aventura, in double with Isabel Alçada, former Minister of Education. He met Isabel in October 1979, the first day of the school year, in the teachers' room of the Fernando Pessoa Basic School in Lisbon. Both teachers of Portuguese Language in this school, published the first book of the saga, An Adventure in the City, in 1982 116 books have been published together.
