Biography
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia David Wood Townsend (November 2, 1891 – August 5, 1935) was primarily known as an American film art director (1919-1934). He started working at Art-o-Graph, but by 1927 he was at MGM where he worked on a number of films. He died in a automobile accident while working on "The Robin Hood of El Dorado", which was released in 1936.
