El Marcel Simpson (born August 5, 2005) is an English filmmaker. Raised in North Yorkshire, England, they developed a passion for filmmaking. Throughout their youth, they made several attempts at creating content online. Most notably, in the early 2020s, under the pseudonym Elscarex. Alongside studying film, they release short independent films on their Youtube Channel. During the start of their first year of college, Elscarex cofounded independent production company Obitus with their good friend and collaborator Victus. Their first short film, Balance, was released on July 5, 2022.
