Before signing with Factory Films, he worked with Battlecruiser and Soixan7e Quin5e. Capotondi's feature length debut, La doppia ora starring Filippo Timi and Kseniya Rappoport, was released on November 6, 2009 after premiering in competition in the Venice Film Festival that September.
