Lamonte Goins (January 2, 1954 – July 29, 1978), also known as Glen Goins, was a singer and guitarist for Parliament-Funkadelic in the mid-1970s. Goins is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, posthumously inducted in 1997 with fifteen other members of Parliament-Funkadelic. His first (known) recordings were as part of the group The Bags. They released a single in 1972: "It's Heavy" b/w "Don't Mess With My Baby".
