Biography

Harry Tytle (Teitel) began his 40-year Disney career in 1936. Over the years he wore many hats, including film cutter and production assistant, eventually becoming producer for live-action films and earning the unofficial title, “Walt’s right-hand man.” During that time, Harry kept a diary of everything he did and saw at the Studio, including notes on more than 200 meetings with Walt. The diary entries form the core of his book, One of Walt’s Boys. Harry also served on the Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. -http://www.disneyanafanclub.org/node/85
