Juan Camilo Gonzalez, known by the stage JC Gonzalez, is an actor, songwriter and singer working in LA. JC was born on March 8th, 1990 in Bogota the Capital city of Colombia. In 1998, JC and his family immigrated to the US in search of medical help for his little brother Daniel who was born with a rare disease called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenital. The Search brought JC and his family of 5 to Houston, Texas. In 2005 at the age of 15, the little go-getter caught the eye of his future talent agent, Denny Sevier, and Gonzalez's acting career was start. In 2009, After graduation high school, JC stuffed what little belongings he had in his beat up Honda and began driving west to LA. JC's mother insisted that he attend college while perusing his acting career in LA, but after JC's first chance came on the Hit TV show Parks and Recreation on NBC, JC saw there was no way he'd be part of the heard of college frats. JC never again stepped foot on a college campus, but has since continued his education in many diverse fields. Today, JC prefers the conquest of self-learning, seeking internships, or just typing any question into Google to the conventional educational subjugation. JC is also a gifted Singer, songwriter, Rapper, and Performer. The quadruple threat has appeared in singing shows like The X Factor and the Glee Project along with many other competitions and boy groups. JC is working on his thought provoking hip moving Hip Hop album AwakIN to come out in 2015. His career began in 2009, when he participated in television commercials and advertisements in Texas. Gonzalez was also a candidate on Making Menudo, an MTV reality show for which they selected twenty-five bilingual male singers. Gonzalez has also made appearances in film and television, such as Parks and Recreation, Blue (web series) and Los Americans. Gonzalez has recorded original material as well as a remix of the song "El Perdón" by Enrique Iglesias and Nicky Jam. As of 2016, Gonzalez was preparing his debut solo album, titled AwakIn, which is set to feature songs in English and Spanish with a mix of Latin rhythms and American rap and pop.
