Biography
Born in 1982 in Ankara, Turkey, Kıvanç initially studied engineering at Ege University. He proceeded to study film editing in Italy's Cinetica Di Bologna, where he developed an interest for Italian cinema. Upon his return to Turkey in 2009, he started working in the film-TV industry. His first feature My Father's Wings received many awards and critical acclaim.
