Biography
Luís Hindman is a writer/director of South Asian and Northern Irish descent. His work was first recognised in 2015 when he received the ‘One to Watch’ award from Into Film, sponsored by the BFI and EON Productions. The jury included Sir Alan Parker, David Yates, and Peter Kosminsky. Since then, Luís has received further accolades for his work from BlueCat, Screencraft, Sky Arts, The British Short Film Awards and the UKMVAs. His latest project, ‘MAGID / ZAFAR’, supported by BFI and Film4, is set to premiere late 2025. He is in development with BFI and Film4 on his debut feature film.
