Meeli Sööt

Biography

Estonian and Soviet theater and film actress. In 1956-1957 she studied at the Tallinn Pedagogical Institute. In 1961 she graduated from the acting department of the Tallinn State Conservatory (course teacher, Voldemar Panso). Since 1961 - actress of the Estonian Drama Theater in Tallinn. Since 1990 he has been teaching (since 1996 assistant professor) at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater (formerly Tallinn State Conservatory). Father - Estonian actor Voldemar Alev (1902-1975). She was married from 1961 to 1978 to the Estonian conductor Antsam Sööt.
