Biography
Wei@W (唯@W), also known as Yui@W and Hoshieve, is a Chinese visual artist and one of the founding members of Hypergryph, acting as both an illustrator and the creative director and IP handler of Arknights. Wei@W is a graduate of the China Academy of Art with a bachelor's degree on Architecture in 2010. During his study in CAA, he is Hai Mao's senior who founded and led the 2-Dimension Mirror (弐維鏡像/二维镜像), a Touhou Project fan club which Hai Mao is part of. After graduation, Wei@W went to Japan and worked for Cygames until 2017, where he returned to China to join Hypergryph under Hai Mao's invitation. Until 2021, Wei@W was the art director of Arknights, responsible for heading the direction of the game's artistic presentation. Wei@W has left the position of Art Director in late 2021, he is now the IP director of Arknights.
