Episode 1

09 January 2023 - Lee Johnson

Lee Johnson is back at AEW after a six-month injury absence with a rehabbed knee, a new attitude, and new membership in The Factory with QT Marshall. He talks about his first match back challenging Orange Cassidy for the All-Atlantic Championship – and why The Factory is the perfect fit for him. Lee also remembers the whirlwind AEW tapings just before the pandemic lockdown, wrestling Mr. Brodie Lee during those tapings, tagging with Brock Anderson, working on MJF’s campaign staff with Wardlow and Hook, and finally getting signed to AEW. Plus, Lee talks about his Sting super fandom as a kid and what it was like meeting him at AEW. If you check out the video episode on YouTube, you might catch a very cool cameo from Lee’s fiancée.

16 January 2023 - Kaun

Kaun and The Embassy captured the ROH Six-Man Tag Team titles last month at Final Battle, and Kaun shares what it means to him to be a two-time Champion. He talks about tagging with Toa Liona and Brian Cage, what he’s learning from manager Prince Nana, and how his wrestling style contributes to the success of The Embassy. He recounts his journey to AEW including his two incredible AEW: Dark matches against Andrade El Idolo and Adam Cole, what Tony Khan said to him after his AEW debut, and why FTR is high on his list of dream opponents. Kaun explains his Cameroonian Royalty heritage, and when and why his father emigrated to the United States. He also details his love of horror movies, tattoos, the Hardy Boyz, and working out, and has pointed messages for both Dalton Castle and the Death Triangle.

23 January 2023 - Prince Nana

The shrimp cocktails are flowing with Prince Nana as he describes what it was like for The Embassy to capture the ROH Six Man Tag Team Championship at ROH Final Battle last month! Prince Nana talks about reforming The Embassy with Brian Cage, Kaun, and Toa Liona, what each man brings to the team, and what else he hopes to accomplish with them. Prince Nana also discusses the art of the wrestling promo, the managers who’ve inspired him, the history of The Embassy, his own royal family in Ghana, and mentoring Private Party. Plus, Nana has thoughts on cocktail sauce, The Embassy’s theme music, and the origin of “huh.”

30 January 2023 - Big Bill Morrissey

Big Bill talks had an unexpected stare down with actor Ken Jeong (a.k.a. Mr. Chow from The Hangover) at AEW: Dynamite in Los Angeles. He shares that story along with his journey to AEW, including his first meetings with Tony Khan, MJF and Wardlow. He speaks to tagging with Lee Moriarty and working with Stokely Hathaway and The Firm. Big Bill also candidly details his struggle with anxiety and depression, his path to sobriety, and the help he’s had to share his story. 06 February 2023 - Arn & Brock Anderson

It’s a lesson in tag team wrestling and cutting good promos with Arn Anderson! Arn and his son, Brock Anderson talk about their journey to AEW, how Brock convinced his parents let him pursue a professional wrestling career, and Brock’s training with QT Marshall at the Nightmare Factory. They also share stories about working AEW Dynamite shows during the pandemic, the importance of watching as many matches as possible, and what it’s like to travel together. Plus, Brock comments on tagging with both Lee Johnson and Brian Pillman, Jr., and keeping the Anderson name.

20 February 2023 - AR Fox

AR Fox was genuinely surprised by his AEW contract offer, and explains why it was such an emotional moment for him. He talks about his road to AEW, his early matches on AEW: Dark, and how welcoming the locker room was to him from day one. AR also discusses his chemistry with Top Flight, why he loves working with Swerve Strickland in the ring, and what impresses him most about Jade Cargill and Private Party. 27 February 2023 - Action Andretti

Action Andretti shocked the world in December when he pulled off the biggest upset in AEW history by beating Chris Jericho on AEW: Dynamite. Action talks about how and when he found out about the match, what it was like working with Jericho in the ring, why he calls it the biggest accomplishment of his life, and how the AEW locker room responded to his big win. He discusses what it means to be tagging with Ricky Starks and feuding with the Jericho Appreciation Society, and what he’s learning from the opportunity. 06 March 2023 - Tony Khan Previews AEW Revolution 2023

AEW Revolution is live from the Chase Center in San Francisco Sunday, March 5th, and AEW CEO, GM and Head of Creative Tony Khan returns to break down the biggest matches on the hottest card in pro wrestling with Ref Aubrey and Tony Schiavone. MJF takes on Bryan Danielson in a 60-minute Iron Man for the AEW Heavyweight Championship; Jamie Hayter, Saraya, and Ruby Soho battle for the Women’s World Championship; The Gunns defend the World Tag Team Championship against The Acclaimed, Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal, and Orange Cassidy and Danhausen; Jungle Boy Jack Perry takes on Christian Cage in a No Holds Barred bout; and Wardlow challenges Samoa Joe for the TNT Championship. There’s also a showdown between Chris Jericho and Ricky Starks with no help from the Jericho Appreciation Society who have been banned from ringside, and a historic match in the making between The Elite and the House of Black for the AEW World Trios Championship.

AEW referee Stephon Smith has already amassed quite a bump card in the AEW ring, and reveals what Anthony Bowens, Jay Lethal, and Austin Gunn had to say after their respective contributions to that list. Stephon recounts his journey to AEW, meeting Tony Khan for the first time, and how one match at AEW Dark changed his life. He discusses the referee’s number one job in the ring, the differences between refereeing tag matches and singles matches, where he did his ref training, and the legendary referees in the business who’ve inspired him. Plus, he reveals the most stressful part of being a ref, his favorite wrestlers to work with, his favorite matches, and who gives him the most smack talk in the ring.

27 March 2023 - Jeff Jarrett

The Last Outlaw Jeff Jarrett, is a consummate professional, and was able to put aside his dislike for Referee Aubrey Edwards long enough to recount his journey to AEW, and talk AEW House Shows and future live event growth plans. He shares some stories about his trusty guitar, tagging with Jay Lethal, and working with Satnam Singh and Sonjay Dutt. He also has thoughts on Owen Hart, Darby Allin, Orange Cassidy, and the AEW International Championship. Plus, Jeff talks about growing up in the business, learning from his dad, and whether we might one day see Karen Jarrett at AEW

03 April 2023 - RJ City

There is almost nothing awkward about this chat with RJ City, host of the Hey! (EW) show on YouTube. Not the discussion about The Golden Girls or 1,000 Island Dressing or Don Knotts or the size of Tony Schiavone’s sh*ts. RJ does take issue with Renee Paquette and actor Stanley Tucci, but offers a bit of praise for Adam Cole and the David Brenner of AEW (you’ll have to listen to find out). He talks about the development and creation of Hey! (EW), some of his favorite guest moments, and his future plans for the show. And he speaks to his relationship with David Arquette and what he enjoyed most about wrestling on the indies.

10 April 2023 - Kip Sabian

Kip Sabian details the development and evolution of his character upon his return to AEW after rehabbing a serious shoulder injury. He reveals what inspired the box on the head, the “underrated, over it” message on the box, his slick suits, and his mysterious appearances in the audience at AEW: Dynamite! He speaks to the real-life experiences influencing his art in wrestling, and how he and wife, Olivia (aka Penelope Ford) are doing after their recent loss. Dalton Castle almost gave up on wrestling! Thank goodness he didn’t or we wouldn’t have the fabulous sequins, sparkles, jumpsuits and capes that are The Peacock! We also wouldn’t have The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) in AEW. Dalton talks about his ROH journey, meeting the Tate twins, how he initially felt about Tony Khan purchasing ROH, his first match back at ROH for Supercard of Honor, the pop he got wrestling Chris Jericho in Toronto, and what’s really in his big prop box that now travels with the show. Dalton shares his dream entrance, his love of painting, the optimal number of rotations for an effective Bangarang, his Celebrity Family Feud experience, and the words he never thought he’d ever hear in his wrestling career.

JD Drake has bowled more than one 300-game in his life, and actually spends his time away from AEW working at the local bowling lanes in his hometown. He talks some bowling, and A LOT of wrestling including about the WorkHorsemen, his tag team with Anthony Henry. He has stories about the first time they met, the first time they tagged together, and how they came up with the name. JD also recounts his journey to AEW, what it was like being part of The Wing Men (with Ryan Nemeth, Peter Avalon, and Cezar Bononi), embracing the character and costume, and how the “I’ll make it work” catchphrase started. Preston Vance took off his Dark Order mask and threw it at the feet of a 10-year-old boy on national television! The former Dark Order member who went by 10 explains why he left the faction, and ditched the mask (and Negative One) to join up with La Faccion Ingobernable. Preston discusses being hand-picked by Mr. Brodie Lee for the Dark Order, what he learned from him, his real-life friendship with Brodie and his family (including Negative One), his favorite parts of filming the BTE vignettes, and why he was given the number 10 in the Dark Order in the first place. He also talks about working with Rush and Jose in LFI, wearing suits, learning Spanish, and the role that Chris Jericho played in this whole turn of events. Plus, Preston talks about his recent matches with Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli, his love of hockey, and his Mario Kart of choice.

The Four Pillars of AEW (current Champ MJF, Jungle Boy, Darby Allin, and Sammy Guevara) battle it out for the AEW Heavyweight Championship. Toni Storm challenges Jamie Hayter for the Women’s World Championship; FTR defend the World Tag Team Championship against Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal with (a hopefully impartial) special guest referee Mark Briscoe; Chris Jericho and Adam Cole face-off in an unsanctioned match mediated by the great Sabu; and Orange Cassidy puts the AEW International Title on the line against 20 challengers in a stacked Blackjack Battle Royal. 22 June 2023 - Rocky Romero & Forbidden Door Preview

AEWxNJPW Forbidden Door 2 is live from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada this Sunday, June 25th, and Rocky Romero from NJPW returns to break down the biggest matches on the hottest card in pro wrestling with Ref Aubrey and special guest co-host, Will Washington! Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay go head-to-head for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship in what’s sure to be another epic battle. AEW’s Jungle Boy Jack Perry stepped up to answer current IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Sanada’s open challenge. AEW World Heavyweight Champion MJF is being forced to defend the title against the Ace of NJPW, Tanahashi. And then there’s the dream match between Bryan Danielson and Kazuchika Okada. Rocky also gives a brief history of the origin of the Forbidden Door PPV, and shares some of his favorite moments from last year’s inaugural event.

10 July 2023 - AEW Unrestricted Live at FanFest!

AEW Unrestricted was Live at Double or Nothing in FanFest, and welcomed three very special guests – Anna JAS, Anthony Bowen of The Acclaimed, and Blackpool Combat Club’s Wheeler Yuta! Anna JAS talks street fights, learning from Jericho, and plays a little game of “This or That.” Anthony Bowens demonstrates proper scissoring technique, makes a case for Daddy Ass getting some gold, and shares some of the process behind Max Caster’s raps. And Wheeler Yuta talks about the incredible match with Jon Moxley that literally changed his career, his in-ring chemistry with Daniel Garcia, and what it was like to win the ROH Pure Championship. He also has some very interesting answers to a few “Who’s Most Likely To” questions when it comes to the BCC.

Mike Bennett is one-third of the ROH tag team The Kingdom, and talks about his newfound excitement and love for pro wrestling, and especially getting busted open the hard way! He defines his #BostonStrong wrestling style, and explains why he’s up for anything and everything from tacks to tables to pure rules matches. He discusses the family nature of Ring of Honor, what the Briscoe Brothers did for The Kingdom and ROH in the early days, how they all felt when Tony Khan purchased the company, and why he considers The Kingdom to be the gatekeepers of ROH. Kyle Fletcher is one half of the Aussie Open tag team. Mark Briscoe, Ref Aubrey Edwards and Papa Briscoe soundly defeated Jeff and Karen Jarrett and Jay Lethal in a heck of a match that ended in a surprise submission! Mark and Ref Aubrey break it all down, and explain how this unlikely trios team came to be, and whether one person’s retirement will truly prevent them from going on a run of their own! Mark Briscoe also shares some great stories about his guest referee spot at AEW Double or Nothing, his incredible and bittersweet AEW Dynamite debut in a tribute match to his late brother, Jay, and what it’s been like to wrestle without him. He remembers his brother, their bond, their ROH debut, and their recent feud with FTR. He also comments on making the decision to wrestle again without Jay, and how faith is getting his family through this difficult time.

Nigel McGuinness is on the commentary team for AEW Collision, and explains how that happened and the role that his abilities as a real-life magician may have played in clinching the deal. AEW All In London live from Wembley Stadium made history with a paid attendance of 81,035 tickets sold becoming the biggest-selling pro wrestling event in history. And AEW followed that up by holding All Out Chicago the very next weekend! Ref Aubrey Edwards and Will Washington share their favorite moments and matches, and reveal some great behind-the-scenes details from both historic shows!
