Bad Buddy Season 1

Synopsis

Ever since they were young, Pran and Pat's families had a deep and raging rivalry, trying to one-up each other on everything. This also extended to their sons. Comparing their sons' achievements and merits,—whether it be academic or extracurricular—the two families leave no stone unturned to outshine and gloat in front of the other. The rivalry was passed down as a family heirloom and the two boys become rivals in turn. Until... they grow tired and become friends. Really good friends. However, because of their families' rivalry, their friendship has to be kept under wraps. And so began a journey of secret friendship... and then perhaps a secret romance?

29 October 2021 - Episode 1

After Pran's friend Wai picks a fight with Pat's group, there's a score to settle between Pat and Pran whose parents have been rivals since before they were born. However, Pat's promised his sister he won't hurt Pran. In the night, the two meet in secret to negotiate a truce.

Episode 2

05 November 2021 - Episode 2

When Pran learns he ate the salad his neighbour ordered after it was delivered to him by mistake, he leaves a gift of green tea and a kind apology note at his neighbour's door to assuage his guilt. Pat, the neighbour he's never met, takes it as flirtatious and begins leaving snacks and cute notes at Pran's door in reciprocation. Meanwhile, Pat and Pran are in constant secret communication to avoid encounters with their respective friend groups.

12 November 2021 - Episode 3

Pran and Pat learn that after the Engineer gang posted a video of themselves harassing Wai at work, the Architecture gang fought them by the pavilion and it was destroyed. As the perceived instigators, the Architecture students are made to pay for its reconstruction.

19 November 2021 - Episode 4

Pran and Pat get the pavilion's construction underway by baiting their groups with competition and Ink—a classmate they knew in high school—shows up, sparking forgotten feelings in both Pran and Pat.

26 November 2021 - Episode 5

With the music contest forthcoming, Pat gets Pa's advice on pursuing Ink. Her words, however, give him some unexpected insight that has nothing to do with Ink.

03 December 2021 - Episode 6

Pran is avoiding Pat after going head-to-head on the rooftop and Pat follows him on the Architecture volunteer trip.

Pran and Pat's competition is in full swing and Pa moves in with Pat to start University.

Pat and Pran struggle to both enjoy their new relationship and keep it a secret.

Following the confrontation between Dissaya and Ming, Pran and Pat run away to the eco-friendly village where Tong takes them in.
