With the help of artificial intelligence, Ginebra records a video posing as Berenice to kill Esteban. Esteban is about to be attacked on the street when Paz comes to his defense and they introduce themselves. Paz and Esteban tell each other the secrets of her past and he assures her that they will soon find the tranquility they long for.

Esteban confesses to Kenzo that he was impressed when he met Paz since she has something special and reveals that he wants to see her again. Before finishing off Elias, Ginebra confesses to him that Samara does not carry his blood since her real daughter died at birth. Paz accepts the job that Esteban proposed, he visits her at her house to talk to her about her responsibilities, but Fermín finds them together.

Fermín returns to Paz's life ready to win her back, he steals a kiss from her, but she slaps him. Samara is taken to a church where she is sworn that she will receive the necessary help, but her blanket escapes her and the situation becomes complicated. Mauro informs Geneva that he will no longer hear from Samara, she celebrates. Gala doesn't want to gain weight and to maintain her figure, she starts not eating.

Paz arrives at Geneva's house to inform her that she saw her daughter asking for money, she confronts Mauro for lying to her. Paz arrives at the prison to bring Esteban some food and to inform him that her children believe in her innocence.

Esteban receives the news that he has regained his freedom, Paz congratulates him and he does not hesitate to hug her. Nandy confesses to Mireya that she feels very grateful for the support that her family gave her when she was going through very difficult times. Elvira recognizes in front of her grandchildren that Esteban is innocent and assures that someone is causing them a lot of harm. Paz makes it clear to Elvira that because she is an employee, she is not going to allow her disrespect. In revenge, she throws away the food and asks her to leave the kitchen clean. Elvira, upon learning more details about Geneva's life, does not hesitate to remember the day her father snatched her newborn daughter from her arms. Elvira loses control while having a few glasses of wine and assures Guinevere that she could be her daughter. Elvira thanks Geneva for all her attention and shares that it hurts her to no longer have a daughter. After Jero rejected Gala for not having the same followers, she kissed Salo and asked him to be her boyfriend. Geneva questions Esteban about the possibility of rebuilding her life, he assures her that Berenice is her only and greatest love.

Fermín contacts Paz to give her the address of where Sam is and asks her to be very careful. Monito saves Luna and asks her best friend to find a blanket as well as a doctor to help him with the injury she has. Paz takes Luna to her house and assures her entire family that she is willing to take care of her and love her as if she were her daughter.

Pedro Pablo reveals to Esteban that Bosco tried to harm him the day they organized the party at his house, he assures that he only wanted to take care of the belongings in the house. Ginebra records another video using artificial intelligence to impersonate Berenice and thus finish off Esteban and Elvira. Paz lives a very special moment with Luna, the little girl shares that she wishes she were her mother. Esteban questions Paz about the reason why she left work without telling him and asks her to trust him to vent.

Paz gets nervous when Esteban takes her hands and confesses that he wants to live again, he agrees with her feelings. Esteban arrives at prison ready to meet the criminal who destroyed his family, Rubio accepts what he did to Berenice. Ginebra and Mauro celebrate that their plans against Elvira's family are working out just as they thought and they are sure that they will never discover that they are behind Berenice's death. Esteban confesses to his friend Kenzo that what he feels for Paz is not a physical attraction, it is actually something deeper. While Lupita recognizes that Luna has a lot of energy, the little girl suffers an accident that puts Paz in a dilemma. Dr. Mónica Manzano identifies Luna as the girl that Ginebra is looking for. Ginebra imagines a romantic moment with Esteban, but she knows that she should not fall in love with her.

Ginebra, knowing that Esteban will not rest until he returns Rubio to prison, advises him to forget about the case since it will harm him, but more so his children. Paz accepts in front of the doctor that she is not Luna's mother and assures her that she had to lie to protect the life of her youngest and hers. Paz informs Luna that they must separate since she has to return to her mother's side. Fermín puts together a plan to get the minor out of the hospital.

Fermín manages to get Luna out of the hospital without the authorities discovering him, Paz is already waiting for him in the taxi to take the minor. Kenzo blames Filipa for her children hating him, so he warns her that she will fight for custody of them. After doing a live broadcast, Gala begins to receive messages about her weight, she questions her friend if she looks fat. Ginebra meets with the mothers who have missing children, she bursts into tears confessing that she is sure that her daughter died.

Lupita gets upset with Paz when she finds out how Luna was taken from the hospital; she assures her that she will blame herself when the authorities find her whereabouts. Paz warns Esteban that he has seen strange attitudes in Gala that could indicate that she suffers from an eating disorder. Esteban and his family are victims of an attack after trying to flee the evil of Ginebra.
