Episodes
Episode 1
05 January 2023 - Clash of the Titans
After the success of 2009’s Avatar, Hollywood was determined to make Sam Worthington the next big leading man. Along with Terminator: Salvation, he was put at the forefront of several huge productions– one of which was a remake of the 1981 film Clash of the Titans. Clash of the Titans definitely raises some questions though. Like why is this called Clash of the Titans when there are zero titans in it? What’s the Kraken doing here in a Greek Mythology story? What was the point of those two guys who show up for a bit and then randomly leave? Why was Perseus so selective about which god gifts to accept? Why didn’t Zeus bring back his family in the end? To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to Clash of the Titans.
Episode 2
19 January 2023 - Wednesday
Netflix has another show to add to their list of massive list of worldwide successes with Wednesday, the Addams Family spinoff from Tim Burton. Wednesday definitely raises some questions though. Like why is Wednesday the only non-normal person at a school full of monsters? Why does she simultaneously love horrible stuff while actively trying to stop horrible stuff from happening? Why does the guy who hates magic use so much magic? Why is Goody Addams named Addams?! To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to Wednesday.
Episode 3
02 February 2023 - Velma
HBO Max decided to dive into the adult animation arena with VELMA, the Scooby Doo spinoff from Mindy Kaling. Despite negative reviews from pretty much everyone, the show seems to be the talk of the Internet. Or maybe that’s because of them… Velma definitely raises some questions. Like where’s Scooby Doo in the Scooby Doo show? Why is every single character just a completely different person than the character they’re based on? Why is everyone so mean? Why does everyone love Velma? Why are they trying so hard to be snarky and meta? To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to Velma.
Episode 4
17 February 2023 - The Maze Runner
The past two decades have been jampacked with multiple movie franchises focused on teens stuck in some kind of game-based dystopia where their lives are at risk and everyone is dressed in gray. Along with The Hunger Games and Divergent, The Maze Runner is definitely on the list of the most well-known within that genre. The Maze Runner definitely raises some questions though. Like did they REALLY try everything to reach the top of those walls? How much time did these people spend naming things? How do they know what grievers are if they only come out in the maze at night, and nobody has survived a night in the maze? Do any questions get answered in this movie? To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to The Maze Runner.
Episode 5
21 January 2023 - Ant-Man - Revisited!
Ant-Man starring Paul Rudd went through a lot of pre-production issues, but it finally got made. How did the pitch meeting go that led to this tiny Marvel hero getting his own film? What’s up with Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) playing so many games when the fate of the world is in the balance? Why does Hope fall in love with Scott? Why does Scott end up rejecting everything he learns and fighting with Captain America and other Avengers in Civil War? Step inside the pitch meeting that started it all. It’s super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Episode 6
23 February 2023 - Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
It’s already been eight years since Paul Rudd joined the MCU as Ant-Man, and this third movie in the series sees him kicking off Phase 5. So with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Marvel really had to start this new phase off with a bang. While some may argue that they didn’t succeed in that, one thing is for sure: they kicked it off with some naked MODOK butt. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania definitely raises some questions. Like why did Janet keep such a big secret from everyone for SO LONG into the movie? What’s going on with MODOK’s face? If Kang is the big bad of the next two phases, why did we just watch him get beat up by some bugs? Did anything really change after this movie? To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Episode 7
02 March 2023 - Ant-Man and the Wasp - Revisited!
Ant-Man and the Wasp is Marvel’s first film to come out after the insanity that was Avengers: Infinity War just a few months ago. Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena and Michael Douglas provide us with some pretty hilarious moments and action scenes in this sequel to 2015’s Ant-Man… just don’t think about it too much. The quantum realm is the latest plot tool that Marvel is throwing our way after the magical Vibranium in Black Panther and the millions of timelines in Infinity War. How did this movie come to be exactly? Step inside the pitch meeting that started it all. It’s super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Episode 8
09 March 2023 - Cocaine Bear
With practically every big movie in theatres being a part of some massive cinematic universe or franchise, moviegoers have expressed a craving for new, original ideas to hit the big screen. Well their prayers have been answered, in the form of a big ol’ bear doing cocaine and attacking people. Cocaine Bear definitely raises some questions. Like how did this movie get greenlit? Why are there so many intricate human plotlines in a movie about a bear doing cocaine? Why did the bear spare those kids? HOW WAS THIS MOVIE GREENLIT! To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to Cocaine Bear.
Episode 9
17 March 2023 - Shazam! - Revisited!
After many years of development, Shazam has joined the DCEU! Billy Batson gets chosen by a wizard to take on the mantle of Shazam and develops the ability to turn into a full-grown superhero. The movie is a ton of fun, but definitely raises a lot of questions. Like what’s up with the bullies being absolute psychopaths? Why is the villain so generic? Why was it so easy for Billy’s mom to just abandon him? Why was the Shazam family so good with their powers?! To answer all these questions and more, step inside the pitch meeting that led to Shazam! It’s super easy, barely an inconvenience!
Episode 10
19 March 2023 - Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
With the first movie as well as the book series being massive international successes, Warner Bros was fast to get to work on adapting the second book in the Harry Potter series: The Chamber of Secrets. What adventures lay ahead for Harry Potter at his death trap of a magical high school?! People were anxious to see it play out on the big screen. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets definitely raises some questions though. Like why would Hogwarts hire Lockhart and why would he accept, knowing full well that he’s a fraud? Was the Whomping Willow really the best thing they could think of to put on school grounds? Why does the car have a mind of its own? Why did Hagrid send children off to speak to man-eating spiders in the most dangerous forest there is? How did Nearly Headless Nick get unpetrified? Is Fawkes the secret star of this movie?!
Episode 11
21 March 2023 - The Lion King
Disney’s original Lion King movie from 1994 is one of the most beloved animated kids movies of all time. It made so much money that Disney is making it again! This time in “live-action” which essentially means very good CGI. Although the original is a classic and characters like Simba, Nala, Mufasa, Zazu, Scar and more are iconic now -- the movie isn’t without its questionable moments. Like what’s up with Scar controlling the weather? Why is the brother-sister romance so… romanticized? Why are lions even kings? To answer all these questions and more, step inside the pitch meeting that led to The Lion King. It’s super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Episode 12
23 March 2023 - Shazam! Fury of the Gods
The DCEU is about to undergo some major reworking and restructuring under the leadership of James Gunn. But before that kicks into gear, there are still a few projects that need to be released… since they were already made. One of those is Shazam! Fury of the Gods! A movie that exists and that has bombed at the box office (Maybe because James Gunn indirectly told people that it doesn’t really matter? Or maybe because Dwayne Johnson stole away its main antagonist? Who knows!) Shazam! Fury of the Gods definitely raises some questions. Like why isn’t Black Adam in this thing? Why did that 6,000 year old fall in love with a high school kid? How much did Skittles pay for that product placement? Can Wonder Woman resurrect people now? To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to Shazam! Fury of the Gods.
Episode 13
02 April 2023 - 9:56 John Wick Pitch Meeting - Revisited!
Keanu Reeves had a global hit with his action-packed movie The Matrix, and none of his movies since then really lived up to how amazing it was. That is, until John Wick rolled around in 2014. This action-packed shooter with a simple plot became a surprise hit and introduced the world to some awesome gun-fu action. The movie does raise a few questions though! Like how did they manage to get the producers to get off their back about worldbuilding details and love interests? How does anyone feel safe at the Continental Hotel? Why didn’t Viggo stick around to make sure his men took care of John Wick, and why did John make a deal with Viggo just moments later? Also, why didn’t anyone Google Baba Yaga? To answer all these questions and more, step inside the pitch meeting that led to John Wick! It’ll be super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Episode 14
06 April 2023 - Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials
The YA-novel-turned-film-series craze was still raging on in the mid 2010’s and the Maze Runner movies definitely rode that wave. Based on the James Dashner series, the movies kind of… did their own thing? Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials definitely raises some questions. Like where are the trials? Why was one of the most suspicious-looking actors cast when someone trustworthy would have helped drive the twist home? Where are the mazes, and why is nobody running in them?! Is Minho trying to get himself kiled?! To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials
Episode 15
13 April 2023 - Super Mario Bros. - Revisited!
In the early 1990’s, Mario and Luigi were all the rage. The Nintendo video game franchise had become a massive worldwide phenomenon, so it only made sense for Hollywood to try and cash in on it. The Super Mario Bros movie was the first movie based on a video game ever made, and it did not exactly inspire confidence in the genre. Starring Bob Hoskins, John Leguizamo, Dennis Hopper and Samantha Mathis, the movie is completely bonkers and raises a whole lot of questions. Like how did dinosaurs also evolve into humans? Why do none of the characters have anything to do with their video game counterparts? Why did they go all-in on the plumbing aspect? Why does President Koopa not just go through the portal? How did they think this would get a SEQUEL?! To answer all these questions and more, step inside the pitch meeting that led to Super Mario Bros! It’ll be super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Episode 16
20 April 2023 - The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023)
It’s been 30 years since the last time we saw Mario on the big screen, and that… did not go so well. Finally, the multiple decades have seemingly allowed the Nintendo Corporation to cool off and give Mario and Luigi another shot at cashing in in Hollywood. The Super Mario Bros. Movie definitely raises some questions. Like why was there a warp pipe under the streets of Brooklyn? Why did Princess Peach bring up her mysterious past and then not explain any further? What are these power-up boxes and how did they get there? Why didn’t Toad have to do that obstacle course, and why did Mario have to spend so much time doing it only to fail? To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to The Super Mario Bros. Movie!
Episode 17
27 April 2023 - The Mandalorian Season 3
Since the first season of The Mandalorian in 2019 was well-received by critics and audiences alike, Disney has been going all-in on their streaming series set in the Star Wars universe. With reception getting colder and colder with each passing show, there was some hope that the third season of their hit show would turn the tides a little. It… does not seem to have done that. The Mandalorian Season 3 definitely raises some questions. Like why do these Star Wars shows keep making their main characters into side characters? Why do bad guys keep “somehow returning”? Are we ever going to see Mando’s face again, or is Pedro Pascal just over all of this? Why does the plot meander for so long and then suddenly pick up steam in the last two episodes? Is this show over now? To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to The Mandalorian Season 3!
Episode 18
04 May 2023 - Guardians of the Galaxy - Revisited!
Nearly a decade ago the Guardians of the Galaxy were introduced to the world and helped turn Chris Pratt into a global phenomenon. People instantly fell in love with Peter Quill AKA Star-Lord as well as Gamora, Drax, Rocket and of course Groot. Although we all know and love these Marvel characters now, can you imagine how weird it must have been to actually pitch the first movie? A talking tree that just says his own name? A foul-mouthed gun-toting raccoon? Step inside the pitch meeting that led to Marvel’s galactic heroes and helped set up Avengers Infinity War! To answer all these questions and more, step inside the pitch meeting that led to Guardians of the Galaxy! It’ll be super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Episode 19
11 May 2023 - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
It’s been nearly a decade since James Gunn brought the Guardians of the Galaxy into the MCU, and arguably changed the direction of the entire cinematic universe. The success of that first movie opened the door for Marvel to explore lesser-known comic book characters and also seemingly gave them the green light to go all-in on comedy beats (for better or for worse.) Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 definitely raises some questions. Like what's Adam Warlock actually doing in this movie? How did they make High Evolutionary so despicable so quickly? Are kids gonna be okay after all that intense animal stuff? Why didn't Star-Lord have his helmet and boots? To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3!!
Episode 20
18 May 2023 - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Pitch Meeting - Revisited!
The first Guardians of the Galaxy brought viewers into the cosmic side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and introduced to awesome characters like Star Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, Yondu, and most adorably, Groot! Did you ever wonder how the pitch meeting went for the sequel? Check out our Volume 2 pitch video to see how it all came together and how they justified some of the sillier decisions involving Ego. To answer all these questions and more, step inside the pitch meeting that led to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2! It’ll be super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Episode 21
25 May 2023 - Fast X
It’s been over two decades since the first Fast & Furious movie came out, a relatively low-key movie about some street racers that steal DVD players. With the franchise having gone to space in the last installment, what more is there for the Fast Family to do at this point? Just keep going on, looks like. Fast X definitely raises some questions. Like how did they land on that title? How many people from Dom’s past are out there right now plotting revenge? What’s with the tourism stop after getting on the most wanted list? What was that ENTIRE scene with Pete Davidson?? To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to Fast X!
Episode 22
01 June 2023 - The Fate of the Furious - Revisited!
Ever wonder how the eighth Fast and Furious installment got its title? Why did Vin Diesel’s character come up with such a convoluted plan to save the day? Is The Rock just a straight up superhero now? Step inside the pitch meeting that started it all! Dom and Letty Ortiz are on their honeymoon in Havana Cuba when a hacker named Cipher blackmails Dom into turning evil! He’ll have to go against the family (also against Deckard and Shaw) to do her bidding. The Fate of the Furious is an absolutely insane movie that proves that the Fast and Furious franchise has gone completely off the rails. From zombie car attacks to nuclear missiles, things have gotten pretty nuts. To answer all these questions and more, step inside the pitch meeting that led to The Fate of the Furious! It’ll be super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Episode 23
08 June 2023 - The Little Mermaid (2023)
Disney has been rampaging through their list of classic animated films and remaking them with a blend of live-action and CGI. The next on the list is The Little Mermaid! Because they WILL do to every animated movie they’ve ever released. They will. The Little Mermaid definitely raises some questions. Like why do all the creatures have to look so real? Why is Flounder scary? If Ursula can just lie and cheat, why even bother with a deal? Did Eric actually fall in love or was he just under the spell of the Siren call? How many of these remakes are left? To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to The Little Mermaid!
Episode 24
15 June 2023 - Transformers: Rise of the Beasts
Ever since the first Transformers movie became a worldwide phenomenon over fifteen years ago, Paramount has been churning out movies in the franchise every few years. The latest entry into the giant-robots-punching-each other film series is here, starring Anthony Ramos as the latest human-person-down-on-their-luck-who-discovers-a-Transformer. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts definitely raises some questions. Like why are we barely seeing the beasts when the movie title promises that they’ll be rising? Does continuity matter at all, or are we just done with that? What kind of Macguffin is everyone after this time? To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to Rise of the Beasts!
Episode 25
22 June 2023 - The Flash
The DCEU has never had an easy go over the course of its 10-year existence, with most movies getting slammed by critics. But all that is set to change with the release of The Flash. Just kidding. The Flash dove deep into development hell, with a constant change in directors, writers, and some notably erratic and violent behavior from star Ezra Miller. The Flash definitely raises some questions. Like was this entire production cursed? Can people handle two Ezra Millers? How many insane events happened in one day in 2013? Did Barry learn a lesson at the end of this or not? How many cameos can they shove into this thing? What was with that CGI? To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to The Flash!
Episode 26
29 June 2023 - Batman v Superman Pitch Meeting: Revisited!
Step back into the pitch meeting and revisit the completely factual accurate conversation that led to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice! Complete with commentary from Ryan George who is now several years older!
Episode 27
06 July 2023 - Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
What if an older Indiana Jones came back for one last big adventure? Wouldn’t that be crazy? Well wonder no more, because that movie came out 15 years ago and it was called Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. But wait, what if an older Indiana Jones came back for one last big adventure AGAIN? Ahhh well if that sounds like a good time, you’re in luck! Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny definitely raises some questions. Like did they copy/paste this premise from The Force Awakens? Why do all older Harrison Ford characters now have terrible lives? How did Zoller survive without a scratch the exact thing that took out Dennis Hopper in Speed? How do these bad guys keep knowing where to pop out? How hard to Helena punch Indy to drag him from Ancient Greece all the way to New York City? To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny!
Episode 28
13 July 2023 - Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - Revisited!
Indiana Jones is one of the most iconic movie characters of all time. Along with his role as Han Solo, playing Indy is one of the defining works of Harrison Ford’s long career. So, in an age of constant reboots and sequels, it was kind of inevitable that Hollywood wanted to bring Indiana Jones back to the big screen. And with George Lucas and Steven Spielberg both on board, this had the makings of something great! Unfortunately yeah no it didn’t work out that way. The movie definitely raises some questions. Like why are we focusing on aliens? Why do the good guys and the bad guys have the same goal? How did they think the nuke fridge scene was a good idea? How does Shia Laboeuf befriend monkeys so quickly and swing through the jungle faster than speeding vehicles? Why did the FBI decide to stop investigating Doctor Jones despite absolutely nothing changing from their perspective? What’s going on with Cate Blanchett’s voice?
Episode 29
20 July 2023 - Interstellar
Christopher Nolan has made a name for himself making intellectual mind-bendy movies with films like Memento, Inception and Tenet. Let’s just say it, the dude is a little obsessed with time. He’s one of the few filmmakers making truly “epic” movies, and it’s really cool when you can understand them. Interstellar definitely raises some questions though. Like why doesn’t anyone seem to care about Tom? Why did they decide to go down to that time dilation planet first? Why did they try to collect that worthless data? Why was there a Matt Damon jumpscare on the second planet? Why did Tom name his kid Coop Cooper? Why did Cooper send the same “stay” message that he knew did not get him to stay? To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to Interstellar!
Episode 30
27 July 2023 - Barbenheimer
Once in a while, the internet goes absolutely nuts for something seemingly random. Recently, the concept of a Barbenheimer double feature emerge, and what seemed like just an internet meme translated into actual, real-world, box office dollars. Take that, Morbius! Barbenheimer definitely raises some questions. Like how did this insane pairing of films come to be? What do these movies have in common? Why is every single word in Oppenheimer underscored with epic music? Why did Barbie keep driving its message home long after it was clear what it was trying to say? To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to Barbenheimer!
Episode 31
03 August 2023 - Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Revisited!
Step back into the pitch meeting and revisit the completely factual accurate conversation that led to Star Wars: The Last Jedi! Complete with commentary from Ryan George who is now several years older!
Episode 32
10 August 2023 - Secret Invasion
Disney and Marvel Studios have been absolutely churning out content in the past few years with a ton of shows hitting their streaming service Disney+. Secret Invasion has come out after a deluge of other superhero shows and people seem to be… tired of this? Secret Invasion definitely raises some questions. Like why didn’t the show play more with the mystery of who is a Skrull and who isn’t? Why doesn’t Nick Fury call the Avengers? If this fight is so personal, why doesn’t he actually fight it? How are all the powers in the final fight even being used?
Episode 33
17 August 2023 - Meg 2: The Trench
Jason Statham fighting giant prehistoric sharks. That’s maybe the easiest pitch that’s ever been made, and first Meg movie made over half a billion dollars thanks to that awesome sounding premise. And when something makes half a billion dollars, you can bet we’re going to see some more of it. Meg 2: The Trench definitely raises some questions. Like why is this shark movie mostly about humans running around doing sketchy stuff? How did Jason Statham free dive at 25,000 feet? Wait, these movies are based on books? Where did that Kraken come from and why isn’t anyone talking about it?
Episode 34
31 August 2023 - Game of Thrones Season 8 - Revisited!
Game of Thrones is one of the most popular TV dramas of all time, and fans were pumped to see what the creators had in store for its final season. However after a few episodes, GoT fans started to have some questions about the way D.B. Weiss and David Benioff were wrapping up their favorite show. Like what’s up with Daenerys becoming pure evil so quickly? Why isn’t anyone talking about Jon being the rightful heir to the throne? Was that really the end of the Night King? Are scorpions more powerful, or are dragons? To answer all these questions and more, step inside the pitch meeting that led to Game of Thrones Season 8! It’s super easy, barely an inconvenience!
Episode 35
08 September 2023 - Blue Beetle
In the midst of a major reshuffling within the DCU, a few movies are just kind of floating in in-betweenland. Movies like The Flash and Shazam 2 Fury of the Gods basically flopped, at least partially due to the fact that audiences aren’t really sure if they’re supposed to care or not. Blue Beetle is the latest movie in that trend, that’s maybe starting off the James Gunn DC reign? Maybe? But also just kind of doing it’s own thing? Blue Beetle definitely raises some questions. Like why does this movie look so familiar? Why is this the 10,000th evil business person that wants to use a supersuit to sell as weapons? Why does that guy on the Big Belly Burger box look so much like Screenwriter Guy? To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to Blue Beetle!
Episode 36
08 September 2023 - Maze Runner: The Death Cure
The YA fad was massive for a few years in the 2010s, with movies like Twilight and The Hunger Games being massive cinematic events around the world. The Maze Runner was arguably one of the last in the genre before it kind of died out and people moved onto… Streaming shows and more superhero movies I guess? Maze Runner: The Death Cure definitely raises some questions. Like are we supposed to remember exactly what happened in that last movie several years ago? Did the good guys just doom the human race by getting their friend back? How are all these kids so good at shooting?
Episode 37
21 September 2023 - CATS Pitch Meeting - Revisited!

Now that the movie is out, the few people that paid money to see it probably have a few questions. Like what is “Jellicle” and why do they keep saying it?! What’s up with all these cats introducing themselves and then leaving. Why are some cats magic and others not? Why are all these cats competing in a singing competition where the prize is dying? To answer all these questions and more, step inside the pitch meeting that led to the CATS!
Episode 38
22 September 2023 - 65
Adam Driver fighting dinosaurs with sci-fi weapons sounds like a surefire concept that’s guaranteed to be entertaining. But somehow, when 65 hit theatres, critics weren’t impressed and audiences weren’t present. 65 definitely raises some questions. Like why did they insist on spelling out this concept so much and ridding it of any mystery? Why do these aliens look, sound, move and measure things exactly like us? Why are all these dinosaurs so angry at these humans? What are the odds of them landing on Earth like a day before the asteroid hits? To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to 65!

Clash of the Titans in 2010, coming off the heels of Sam Worthington’s success in Avatar, made enough money to justify a sequel. Was anyone really asking for one? No. But we got one anyway in glorious 3D! Remember that craze? Wrath of the Titans definitely raises some questions. Like why didn’t Zeus revive Perseus’ wife again? Why are all these gods made of sand? What’s Andromeda tagging along for? Why are fire-breathing creatures hurt by fire? Does being inside an exploding Titan not hurt at all?
Episode 41

Five Nights At Freddy’s is an incredibly popular video game with a deep lore that people seem to be obsessed with. But does a jump-scary video game translate well to a two-hour-long feature film with minimal jumpscares and a whole lot of sleeping? Five Nights At Freddy’s definitely raises some questions. Like why are we spending so much time in a field of dreams? How is there only like one jumpscare in this thing? How does William Afton actually control these things, and how does knowing he’s evil change that for them? Does that cop not have any cop stuff to do?
Episode 45

Episode 46
16 November 2023 - The Marvels Pitch Meeting
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is relentlessly pushing out content both in movie theatres and on Disney+. Their latest combines characters from Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, Secret Invasion, Wandavision and more. The Marvels definitely raises some questions. Like how are they still making villains like this? Isn’t that the same plan as in Spaceballs? Why did Monica not try to fix the space-time hole from our side? Captain Marvel is so powerful she can reignite suns? What was up with that singing planet?
Episode 47

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes definitely raises some questions. Like did they set out to make the longest title possible? How many times do they say Lucy Gray’s name and how many times does she sing? Are we rooting for the guy that runs the kids-killing-each-other competition? Why does this movie feel like two movies? To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes!
Episode 48
