SHING scores 4 'E' grades in the school examination. However, he is very optimistic and helpful. He even goes to console his schoolmate. He rings home. CHUNG misunderstands that SIDNG has scored very good result. He asks PING to prepare a celebration for SIDNG. Later, SIDNG tells CHUNG the truth. CHUNG wants SIDNG to continue his study. He decides to sell their flat so as to procure enough money for SHING to study aboard. SIDNG is very excited. CHUNG hurts himself by a fall. In order not to make SIDNG worry for him, he pretends to be all right. SHING and CHING are both admitted by the same university. CHUNG meets them. He misunderstands that they are dating. SIDNG goes to see CHUNG at his office to explain. He then knows that CHUNG is on sick leave because he has got hurt. PING tells SHING the details. SIDNG is very touched.

SHING gives up to study aboard so as to lessen CHUNG's burden. When CHUNG has known the case, he pretends that he has already recovered. CHUNG even goes jogging with SIDNG. CHUNG is eventually too exhausted and falls down form a slope. SIDNG tries his best to rescue him. Till then SIDNG decides to stay in Hong Kong. SIDNG's goal is to represent Hong Kong to participate in the badminton competition. However, CHUNG has very high expectation on SIDNG. He even helps SIDNG to find a job. SIDNG works at a magazine publishing house. Later, SIDNG finds that this publishing house is very bad which has no moral. SIDNG is very dissatisfied. LEUNG dates YING. YING's mother worries a lot. Thus, LEUNG and YING go out secretly. They always make use of YUET and YEE to hide the truth.

SIDNG resigns angrily when he found that he publishing house has got no moral. He works at a courier services company. He practices badminton every day after work. His firm requests SIDNG to work overtime on the day of the badminton competition semi-final. SIDNG thus resigns. SIDNG lies that he is working as a script-writer at the TV station. HONG gives CHUNG two tickets on the day of the badminton competition final. CHUNG rings SIDNG at the TV station. CHUNG then knows that SHING is lying. CHUNG watches the badminton competition by himself. He finds that SIDNG is participating at he competition and was the champion. CHUNG is very angry. They eventually compromise that CHUNG will not stop SHING to play badminton if SIDNG could work in a firm steadily for more than six months

10 August 1995 - Episode 4
SHING works as a warehouse assistant. The manager, Mr. PAO is very mean and cold-blooded. SIDNG speaks for the staff for the sake of righteousness. PAO hates SIDNG deeply. SHAN worries too much for YING. She is dissatisfied with his husband, MAN, who has neglected YING. SHAN invites YING to attend a concert. However, YING pretends to be sick in order to see LEUNG. SHAN goes to see MAN at his clinic. MAN arranged to attend a ball with his nurse, W AH. W AH is very understanding and leaves quietly, SHAN hurries home to take care YING during the party. MAN is very dissatisfied at heart. Fortunately, YING backs home in time. LEUNG goes to study in Japan. He asks SIDNG to take care YING before he leaves Hong Kong. SHING goes to practice badminton secretly. He meets YING who is playing piano. YING is very dissatisfied with SHAN who is too strict to her. SHAN has given her too much pressure.

SHING meets an ex-schoolmate, HO, who is working as a designer. HO could hardly get promoted due to his academic background. HO decides to further study. SHING encourages him. YING attains the piano level 9. SHAN holds a celebration party for YING. She even forces YING to perform in public. YING feels like a puppet. In order not to play piano, YING pretends to be sick. She slips to play badminton instead. YING tells SIDNG her grievance. SHING advises YING to tell SHAN her feeling. However, SHAN is very irritated. W AH and MAN have an affair. W AH is pregnant. MAN proposes to break up with SHAN. SHAN suffers a great blow. YING tries to mediate but MAN is very determined to divorce SHAN. SHAN has no alternative. She got to face reality.

14 August 1995 - Episode 6
YING suffers a great blow. SIDNG tries to influence YING with his optimistic attitude. However, YING has to choose between her father and mother. MAN makes SHAN misunderstood that YING does not want to under her control. SHAN is very disappointed. She packs YING's stuff. YING then moves to MAN's place unwillingly. She still misses SHAN a lot. Later, she decides to live with SHAN. SHAN sold her flat and moves to a smaller one. YING's schoolmates come to help. SHAN finds YING and SIDNG are very intimate. Later, she knows that they are only common friends. Something has been stolen at SIDNG's firm. Mr. PAO takes the chance to frame SIDNG up and fires him. SIDNG is difficult to get at the truth.

SIDNG fears that her could not play badminton anymore. YING arranges HONG to see SIDNG at he youth club. Meanwhile, CHUNG is also at the club. YING asks CHUNG to tea with her at the restaurant so that he would not discover SIDNG. SIDNG explains the case to HONG. HONG leaves after hearing his explanation. YING visits SIDNG's home. CHUNG and PING like her a lot. The relation between YING and SIDNG improves a lot. YING, SIDNG and other schoolmates go cycling. YING falls carelessly and gets hurt. SIDNG shows his passion and concern unconsciously. They both have blossomed special feeling on each other. HONG gives SIDNG a chance. He just gives him a warning. He even transfers SIDNG to work at the window display department. SIDNG is very glad. PAO is very dissatisfied.

16 August 1995 - Episode 8
YING and SIDNG dare not to face each other. Both of them try to avoid each other. YEE invites the schoolmates to celebrate YUET's birthday. HO and YEE find that YING and SIDNG are very strange. YING and SIDNG ask YEE and HO to help respectively. SIDNG copes with his colleagues well. He even receives praises. YING inspires SIDNG to use musical notes to decorate the window display. SIDNG and his colleagues work overnight. CHUNG, PING, YING and SIDNG's schoolmates work hard at home. They eventually finish the work and receive praise. SIDNG continue to work at the firm at six months. SIDNG thanks everybody by inviting them to dinner. When SIDNG has known that YING had secretly rendered help, he fills with emotion. Meanwhile, LEUNG appears.

LEUNG backs to Hong Kong. SHING then withdraws. HO consoles SHING. SHING concentrates at work and also plans to further his study. CHUNG and PING are more relieved. LEUNG does not notice YING's change. SHAN asks SHING about LEUNG. SHING makes SHAN accepting LEUNG. HO, SHUN and SHING play football. HO meets WAN. He is attracted by her charming look. WAN pretends to be a mute. SHING sees through her plot. SHING quarrels with WAN. SHING and YING could not forget each other. YING and LEUNG go shopping. YING comes across a pumpkin and reminds her of SHING. LEUNG does not know her secret and buys a pumpkin for YING. YING is very confused.

LEUNG wants to develop his own business and sets up a firm producing 'Gift Card'. However, he heard that his parents are in financial difficulty, he thus cancels his plan. Later, JOHN supports LEUNG. However, JOHN is very extravagant. They worry a lot for LEUNG. HO meets WAN again by chance. WAN finds HO's drawing and arises interest in him. They begin to go out with each other. SHING always argues with WAN. SHING frankly points out that WAN is only day?dreaming as she does not take any substantial action to become a caricaturist. LEUNG is busy. He asks SHING to watch the concert with YING for him. Both YING and SHING excuse not to go. YING talks with YEE about her passion. YEE advises YING to be more aggressive to pursue fortune. JOHN suddenly withdraws. LEUNG is very nervous. SHING and YING dare not to tell them their relationship for the moment. LEUNG is very self-conceited. He is reluctant to ask his parents for help. SHING begs CHUNG to sell their flat for LEUNG's sake. CHUNG refuses. SHING then turns to SHAN. YEE tells LEUNG's parents the case. LEUNG's parents have procured five hundred thousand dollars. LEUNG goes to see YING happily. He finds YING and SHING are dating. LEUNG beats SHING angrily. SHAN lends three hundred thousand to LEUNG. LEUNG thinks that YING still loves him. Thus, he does not give up YING. MAN and W AH have a baby. YING is happy to see SHAN and MAN who could cope with each other harmoniously. SHAN thanks MAN who has disclosed her the truth so that she will not have any illusion. YING is determined to break up with LEUNG.

WAN by chances gets acquainted with YING. She even teaches YING a lesson. SHING arrives. Till then she gets to know that she has matched YING and SHING. She feels very distasteful. YING and SHING want to tell their parents the truth. However, CHUNG's speech stops SHING from telling the truth. CHUNG expresses in his speech that he hates those who compete with their best friend for love. YUET knows that WAN is his manager's sister during HO's birthday. YUET the flatters WAN. YEE and YUET are colleagues. YUET is very serious and responsible. In contrast, YUET is very irresponsible. YEE's father HING is sent to the hospital. YEE hurries to the hospital. YUET has made a mistake. YEE hurries to the printing company to remedy YUET's mistake. YUET is tempted by vanity and gets acquainted with a rich guy, Mr. Hill. She always shows off in public. Though YEE is disappointed in career, she could still overcome it with CHUN's support. Her family also supports her. YING and WAN go shopping. YING is surprised to see that WAN shows great concern to SHING. She knows that WAN does blossom special feeling on SHING. YUET ignores all objection and moves out to live with Hill. She even resigns immediately. LING is very angry. YEE helps YUET to pack her stuff. She discovers the page of her report. Though she feels very upset, she does not disclose the truth before YUET.

YUET finds that RING is not important at home, she feels very dissatisfied. One day, she finds that the neighbour do respect RING a lot when RING is working, she changes her impression on him. RING resigns. FLORA got promoted. YEE knows that LING is biased against her. YEE decides to leave. YEE finds a job at a soy source factory where she could receive higher salary. HO secretly admires WAN. WAN eventually accepts HO with her younger brother, SHUN's help. HO is very happy. TUNG always insults HO. HO resigns angrily. LOI got a flat from the ownership scheme. His family feels happy for him. RING faints when they are moving in the new flat. All are shocked.

RING is in coma. Doctor suspects that he is suffering from bone cancer. LOI and YEE deliberately hide the secret. CHUNG finds that he also has those symptoms. He worries a lot for himself. CHUNG carelessly discloses the truth to RING. Fortunately, RING could face reality optimistically. The medical report shows that RING tumour is not malicious. SRING accompanies CHUNG to have a body check. It proves that it is a false-horror. YUET and HUI have a trip to Europe. YUET visits YEE. LOI and RING treat YUET in a cool manner. YEE feels sorry for YUET. YUET knows that her relation with HUI could not last long. She decides to squeeze quick money form HUI. Ho becomes unemployed. He could hardly find a job. HO and SRING meet TUNG when they are playing snooker. Till then HO got to know that it is TUNG's deed. HO an SRING grieve with anger.

HO cannot find a job. WAN proposes HO to develop his own business. HO wants to establish a boutique selling his own design. HO's grandmother intends to sell her flat for HO's sake. They persuade SHAN to invest in property. SHAN agrees. HUI is a playboy. YUET leaves him angrily. YUET persuades YUET to return home. YUET feels ashamed of herself. She tells YEE to return home. YEE and CHUN break up. They do not want their family members worry for them. YEE helps uncle WONG to do the accounting work. She is too exhausted that she faints and is sent to the hospital. Till then she could win the worker's favour. She could then cope with them well. YEE is very helpful. LEUNG blossoms love feeling on YEE. YUET likes LEUNG. SHING is being framed up by TUNG. SHING is forced to resign voluntarily. HO asks ESTHER to be the witness. Unexpectedly, ESTHER has fallen in love with TUNG. She is in league with TUNG. CHUNG intends to beg TUNG not to harm SHING at the beginning. However, he beats TUNG in a towering anger instead. He is being charges of assault. SHAN and YING tour Japan. HONG follows them. He heard of SHING's case. He will investigate the case thoroughly. TUNG meets YUET at LEUNG's shop. He is attracted by her beauty. YUET takes the chance to tempt TUNG so as to spoil ESTHER and TUNG's relationship. ESTHER is jealous. She even breaks into TUNG's office and disclose the truth regarding TUNG stealing HO's design. TUNG is failed. HONG does not sue him. TUNG resigns.
