15 September 1995 - Soul Survivor

As a child, Chance Harper miraculously walked away from a plane crash that killed his entire family (and everyone else aboard). Now an adult, he's a cavalier freelance photographer who uses his mysterious relationship with Lady Luck to help others. In the opener, Chance winds up charged with murder after he saves a suicidal woman.

He later discovers that the plane crash that killed his mother and sister was not an accident, but rather a deliberate act of revenge by a long-time nemesis of his father, who is now intent on killing the remaining family members.
