Synopsis

The story of the people building the stunning fighter-interceptor jet to defend Canada's vast territory during the Cold War. Cost over-runs, U.S. government pressure to dominate the military industry, and the surprise election of the Diefenbaker government, with a new fiscal agenda, threaten to stop the plane from getting off the ground.
