A heartbroken Isha doesn’t share the news of her being fired at home. Rupali suggests Isha look for another job, but the fact that she can’t see Vikrant anymore hurts Isha.

Later, their neighbour comes to talk about his son’s and Isha’s wedding. He offers them financial help, but Nimkar refuses. Later, Isha reaches home and praises Vikrant.

The next morning, Pushpa tries to convince Nimkar for Isha and Bipin’s wedding, but he walks off. Later, Rupali reminds Isha to confirm whether Vikrant is married or not.

Isha and Pushpa appease an upset Nimkar. Elsewhere, Aaisaheb makes Vikrant realise again the need to have a partner in life to get rid of his loneliness. Mr Tillu speaks to Nimkar about fixing the wedding date the next day and says he will take care of all the finances. Deciding to share the finances, Isha approaches Mayra for help and asks her to keep it a secret from Vikrant. Mayra gives Isha a cheque worth INR five lakh and puts forth a condition that she should stay away from Vikrant.

Isha sets out to encash the cheque given by Mayra and lies to her parents when asked about it. Meanwhile, Vikrant recollects the time spent with Isha. Pushpa informs Vikrant that the wedding date will be fixed today. Later, a casual chat with Jaydeep makes Vikrant realize that one must learn from the past and move on. At Bipin’s house, when Isha and her parents visit to fix the date, Mr. Tillu asks why there aren’t any relatives from their side. Just then, Vikrant walks in, surprising everyone!

When the Nimkars and the Tillus meet to fix the wedding date, Vikrant walks in, surprising everyone and making Isha uncomfortable. Vikrant offers to help, but Isha declines it by saying, errands like carrying heavy oil containers are not his cup of tea. Vikrant leaves quietly and reaches home to see Aai Saheb praying for his marriage. He misses Isha but is happy for her. The next day, Vikrant tells Mayra he will be away from office for a week, and lands up at Isha’s house with an oil container!

Jhende instructs Vikrant’s bodyguards to stay undercover and watch over him. Mayra overhears his conversation and probes, but Jhende deludes her. Vikrant decides to help the Nimkar family with the wedding preparations. The Nimkars are stunned when Vikrant reveals that, once upon a time, he too lived in a chawl. Isha is confused about Vikrant’s intentions and decides to confront him. She sends her parents off for shopping to get some alone time with Vikrant.

Meanwhile, Isha confronts Vikrant about his feelings for her but is left speechless when he plays with words and walks away. Just then, Mr. Tillu walks up to Vikrant with business ideas, which makes Vikrant rethink Isha’s marriage. He then instructs Jhende to verify Mr. Tillu’s background.

Jhende obtains information about Mr. Tillu's real motive and relays it to Vikrant. Pushpa and Nimkar are glad to have Vikrant helping them for Isha's wedding, but Isha feels otherwise. The next morning, Vikrant arrives and takes Isha's family, Bipin, and Mr. Tillu out for jogging. Soon, everyone is exhausted except Isha and Vikrant. Isha slips, but Vikrant catches her, much to her delight! In the office, Mayra gets suspicious after learning that Vikrant and Isha haven't arrived yet.

Mayra entrusts the responsibility of running the office to Jaydeep. She then calls Isha and reprimands her for taking two days of leave without notice. Isha tells her she needs four days of additional leave for her wedding. Mayra tells Isha to submit her application to Jaydeep. Isha does so, but an ill-mannered Jaydeep tears up her application. Jhende asks Isha about her leave when Mayra informs him about Jaydeep taking over the responsibilities. Further, Jhende warns Mayra against her anger.

Jhende informs Vikrant that Jaydeep has rejected Isha’s leave application. Gathering some courage, Isha manages to convince Jaydeep to accept her leave application by narrating the story of ‘Hirkani’. At the jewellery shop, Vikrant and Isha end up liking a ‘mangalsutra’ worth INR 3 lakh. Mr Tillu agrees to buy it in order to save his image. Isha is elated when Vikrant helps her wear the ‘mangalsutra’ while she struggles. Later, Vikrant hides the ‘mangalsutra’ and Mr Tillu insults Isha.

While going home, Pushpa gets irritated by a stranger staring at her. Later, Pushpa makes a dish out of leftover rotis and Isha wishes to stitch a dress for herself using Pushpa’s old sarees which impresses Vikrant. While Vikrant and Isha go to fetch the ‘Mangalsutra’, the fellow residents wonder whether Vikrant wants to take over their locality for redevelopment. Further, Isha and Vikrant have a hearty talk. Later, Ranjana and the fellow residents threaten the Nimkars to stay away from Vikrant.

Vikrant overhears the fellow residents conversing and reprimands them for threatening Nimkar. He clarifies that he is not eying their locality for redevelopment and urges them to be united. While Vikrant goes to call the Tillus to have a look at the necklaces, he overhears Mr Tillu lamenting about the increased expenses. Mayra calls Vikrant to ask his whereabouts and hears Isha’s voice. Vikrant tries to feed Isha, but she shies away. Mayra smartly makes Jhende reveal Vikrant’s whereabouts.

Bipin gets ten gold necklaces for Isha. While the Nimkars worry about the expenses, Isha gets a message on her phone about her first salary being deposited. Pushpa shares her happiness with the neighbouring ladies, but they retort, saying Isha’s salary will be enjoyed by her in-laws. Jhende tells Mayra that Vikrant wants her to make changes in the Employee Manual. When Isha receives a copy of the manual, Vikrant tells her to check with the Tillus whether they approve of all the rules.

Isha shows Raghuveer the Employee Manual, and he learns that relatives of an employee are not allowed to associate with Vikrant’s company for business. Furious, he calls off the marriage. Pushpa wants to reason with Raghuveer, but Vikrant volunteers to amend the rule. Raghuveer excitedly agrees to the marriage. However, Pushpa realises the Tillus’ intentions and calls off the wedding. Raghuveer makes threats to seize the Nimkars’ shop. Nimkar’s boss, who was made to tag along, apologises.

Pushpa and Mr Nimkar insist Vikrant spend one last day with them, and he obliges. Jhende reminds Vikrant about Jaydeep’s birthday and takes him to the office, where everyone is waiting to cut the cake. Jaydeep introduces everyone to the “money printing machine” that he has bought. He is furious when the machine doesn’t work. Mayra pressurises Jhende to get Vikrant to the office the next day. Isha writes a love letter to Vikrant, and Rupali assures her of Vikrant having similar feelings.

Mr Nimkar and Pushpa decide to take Vikrant for lunch to Bollywood Café owing to the discounted prices. In the office, Jhende and Mayra hold Vikrant back for the general body meeting. After a long wait at the restaurant, Isha calls Vikrant, but he doesn’t answer. After Isha’s repeated calls and texts, Vikrant ends the meeting in haste and leaves to go meet the Nimkars. Jhende tries to stop Vikrant from going by emotionally blackmailing him and telling him it is against Peer Baba’s discretion.

Vikrant is angry with Jhende for blackmailing him to break the promise he made to the Nimkars. Vikrant explains his state of mind to Jhende by narrating a story. Isha tells Rupali she will wait for Vikrant to approach her. Mr Nimkar is welcomed by his boss to the shop. At office, Mayra asks Isha to make a presentation on Rajnandini sarees. Isha hesitates initially, but, after recalling Vikrant’s words, she suggests recycling sarees into dresses, and everyone is impressed with her proposal.

Impressed by Isha’s presentation, the clients tell Vikrant that they want Isha to lead the project. Vikrant apologises to Isha for not turning up for lunch, but she cuts him off saying she has to submit a report to Mayra. Rupali is upset with Ranjana when she insults Isha and Pushpa. Vikrant plans a surprise celebration for Isha’s successful presentation. Mayra is furious as she failed to tarnish Isha’s image. Later, Vikrant asks Isha to write an apology letter to the Nimkars.

Bipin, who wants to be friends with Isha, reveals that he knows Vikrant and she are in love with each other. Isha gives Vikrant’s apology letter to Pushpa. In the morning, Bipin gives Isha a ride to office, which Vikrant sees. A fuming Vikrant scolds Isha for being insincere, much to Mayra’s delight. Vikrant calls Isha to his cabin and angrily expresses his feelings. When Isha repeatedly offers him his medicine, he breaks the glass in anger. However, seeing Isha hurt, he tends to her injury.

Isha refuses to take an extra lunch box for Vikrant. Mr Nagarkar calls Mayra and tells her he will confirm the meeting only if Isha is available, which irks Mayra. Mayra reprimands Isha for not doing the research about the Raj Nandini sarees. Isha impresses the dealers with her idea of magnifying the demand for Raj Nandini sarees, and asks them to join her in the survey.

Jhende asks Vikrant why his behaviour has changed since Isha has come into his life, but Vikrant is unable to answer. The next day, Mayra and Jhende get angry with Vikrant when he questions them about Isha’s whereabouts. Vikrant tells Jhende Isha being a new employee is his responsibility. Pushpa calls Vikrant to ask whether Isha fought with him, but he lies. Later, the dealers and Isha visit Mr Nimkar’s shop for the survey, but Isha refuses to reveal her identity in front of the dealers.

The dealers are happy with the survey's outcome. Isha reveals to them that her father works at the shop. Vikrant follows Isha, and during their fight, learns that Vikrant hasn't eaten all day. She takes him to a road-side stall, where Vikrant insists on eating spicy food despite Isha's request. Nimkar informs Pushpa about Isha's visit, and they decide to eat outside. Later, Vikrant is surprised to run into Isha's parents. Isha advises Vikrant to accept the truth to ease his worries.

In the car, Vikrant listens to the ‘Love Guru’ radio show, wherein a professor falls in love with his student. Although Vikrant relates to the situation, he hides his feelings from Jhende. During the survey, Mr Shinde badmouths Mayra and Vikrant, and Isha reprimands him. An insulted Mr Shinde complains to Mayra about Isha’s rude behaviour. Vikrant instructs Mayra to take any action she pleases. Later, at office, when Mayra is about to fire Isha, Mr Nagarkar tells the truth and saves Isha.

Jhende takes Vikrant to a nostalgic place where they relive their memories. Jhende makes Vikrant realise he is in love with Isha and he is hiding the same from himself. Elsewhere, Bipin gives Isha a red rose and asks her to count its petals to know whether Vikrant will marry her. The ‘Jogtin’ assures Pushpa of Isha’s marriage. Later, Vikrant offers Isha a promotion which requires her to move to Bangalore. Isha tells Vikrant that he cannot stop loving her even if he distances himself from her.

Isha gives Vikrant a challenge, wherein they shouldn’t attempt to meet each other in the next 24 hours. However, if they happen to meet each other accidentally, then Vikrant has to accept his feelings for Isha. While Rupali and Bipin plan to make them meet each other, Jhende and Mayra plan otherwise. When Rupali asks Jhende about Vikrant’s whereabouts, he suspects it to be Isha’s plan. While Vikrant gets angry with Jhende for trying to downgrade Isha, Isha foils Rupali and Bipin’s plan.

In the morning, Sonya argues with Aaisaheb for being partial towards Vikrant.
