Synopsis

When the remnants of a body are found hidden in a river, DCI Cassie Stuart and DS Sunny Khan are faced with an impossible investigation. David Walker disappeared in 1990 at the age of 34. Only scraps of potential leads remain, but relentless work leads Cassie and Sunny to four people. Each has a connection to Walker, and a painful secret that might have driven them to murder. They are the pieces of the jigsaw Cassie and Sunny must solve. But the harder they try to put this picture together, the more blurred it becomes. It’s a case that will test their relationship in unexpected ways.

Detectives Cassie and Sunny reunite as they take on a case concerning the remains of a body found locked in a suitcase in the River Lea. As the pair begin the complicated task of trying to identify the body, the stories of four people with apparent links to the victim begin to unfold. Old wounds are reopened when the detectives track down the victim's wife and son, who have been in the dark about his disappearance for 26 years. Who wanted the man dead and why?

12 January 2017 - Episode 2

Crime drama series. Detectives Cassie and Sunny begin to find out a bit more about who David Walker was through speaking to his ex-wife Tessa.

Episode 3

19 January 2017 - Episode 3

Further examination of David Walker's history suggests that he was a troubled man with a number of issues. Marion has a prickly chat with Cassie about her past and the investigation reveals her close relationship with an IRA activist. As the police enquiries encroach on their lives, Sara and Colin open up to their partners.

Episode 4

26 January 2017 - Episode 4

A disturbing allegation about David opens up a second line of enquiry for the team. How much Tessa actually knew about David's life threatens to ruin her relationship with her husband and son. Marion gets into trouble at work and jeopardises her marriage by refusing to open up about her past. After having his phone stolen and information exposed, Colin is blackmailed again - and Sarah's secrets push her family to breaking point.

Episode 5

02 February 2017 - Episode 5

Cassie begins to investigate the Brentford house and the theory that one or more of the suspects may have been abused at the gatherings that took place there. The enquiry reveals some information that allows Colin to come to terms with a shame that he has lived with for over 25 years. Sara is forced to confront her past in order to prove her innocence. Marion pushes her family even further away.

09 February 2017 - Episode 6

Having come to another dead end, Cassie and Sunny work on trying to prove a final theory into David Walker's death and catch the culprit.
