02 January 2005 - January 2nd, 2005 - Ric Flair Vs Val Venis

Match Results Trish Stratus defeated Victoria by pinfall after Trish countered Victoria's attempted to finish the match with the Widow's peak, then hit the Northern Light's and the Chick Kick to score the win. Tyson Tomko defeated William Regal by pinfall as Regal was distracted by Christian, and Tomko then hit a big boot for the win. The Hurricane defeated Rob Conway by pinfall after the Hurricane dropped down from Conway's shoulders, and then hit the Eye of the Hurricane and the covered his opponent for the pinfall victory. Ric Flair defeated Val Venis by submission using the Figure Four Leglock to force Venis to tap out.

Pre-PPV-New Year's Revolution No matches. Coach and Todd Grisham did there announcing live outside of the arena by Puerto Rico landmarks such as Fort Elmaro Castle. The announcers recapped all the back round information about how the matches for New Year's Revolution were made.

Robert Conway W/Sylvain Grenier Defeated Val Venis. Conway picks up the victory when, Grenier is on the apron. And Venis gaves him a right hand and venis goes back inside, but Conway knocks him down and then hits the Au revoir for the win. Tajiri Defeated Stevie Richards. Tajiri gets the win when, Tajiri kicks Richards right in the back of the head then goes for the pinfall. NON TITLE MATCH Trish Stratus Defeated Molly Holly Molly hits the reverse Snapmare on Trish and then went for the Handspring elbow in the corner, but Trish avoids it and rolled up Molly for the 1-2-3.

Rhyno Defeated Stevie Richards Rhyno gets the win when, he hits a Spinebuster on Richards, then hit the Gore for the pinfall. Tajiri Defeated Wavell Starr Tajiri picks up the victory when, Tajiri locks in the Tarantula. He then goes for the Buzzsaw Kick, but Starr ducked, but Tajiri got him on the rebound for the 1-2-3. Simon Dean Defeated Val Venis Dean wins the match when, Val attempts a Back Suplex, but Simon had Brass Knucks on from his bag and nails Val, in the back of the head for the win.

PRE-PPV-ROYAL RUMBLE Video Package Highlight -Heindenreich-Undertaker Fued. Highlight package-Triple H-Randy Orton Fued. Shawn Michaels- Shawn Michaels says that the Royal Rumble is where careers are made. And he will not let Edge, make his career at the expense of HBK. Maven Defeated Rhyno Maven gets the win when, Rhyno hits a Sunset Flip over the top rope, but Maven sits out, and holds the rope for the pinfall.

Muhammad Hassan Defeated Rhyno Hassan picks up the victory when, he hits a STO on Rhyno, then he locks in the Camel Clutch for the win. Gene Snitsky Defeated The Hurricane Snitsky gets the win when, he hits The Hurricane with a big boot then the Pump Handle Slam for the win. INTERCONTINETAL TITLE MATCH Shelton Benjamin Defeated Val Venis Benjamin retains his title when, Venis attempted the Money Shot, but Benjamin gets his knees up, and then hits the Stinger Splash in the corner. Then the Exploder T-Bone for the win.

Maven Defeated Val Venis Venis attempts a Vertical Suplex but Maven counters into the Inverted Backbreaker for the pinfall victory. Todd Grisham announces The Rock's new movie ""Be Cool"" is out on Friday. A big featurette is then shown with The Rock thanking his fans for the support. Edge and Christian Vs Randy Orton and Shawn Michaels is then shown from last weeks RAW. The Hurricane and Rosey Defeated Shawn Spears and Mike Yamaha Hurricane and Rosey pick up the pinfall victory after a side slam by Rosey on Spears. Next we are taken back to the Batista's Wrestlemania contract signing last week on RAW. William Regal, Tajiri and Rhyno Defeated La Resistance and Jonathan Coachman Tajiri hits the Buzzsaw Kick on Coachman for the pinfall victory.

WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH William Regal and Tajiri Defeated La Resistance and Christian and Tyson Tomko in a Triple Threat Elimination Match Christian hits the Unprettier on Sylvain Grenier to eliminate La Resistance. Tajiri hits the Buzzsaw Kick on Tyson Tomko to retain the titles.

""The Masterpiece"" Chris Masters defeated Caprice Coleman with a Masterlock. William Regal & Tajiri defeated Simon Dean and Maven (Non title) with Regal hitting Simon Dean with a running kneelift.

PRE PPV - WRESTLEMANIA 21 This is the Sunday Night Heat before Wrestlemania 21. Tazz filled in for Todd Grisham. Tazz and The Coach were outside of the Staple Center's arena. They previewed all of the matches for Wrestlemania 21. They started with Undertaker against Randy Orton, then the Money in the Bank ladder match, Shawn Michaels against Kurt Angle, John Cena against John Bradshaw Layfield for the WWE Championship, Triple H against Batista for the World Championship, and small clips of the other matches. There were also highlights of the 2005 WWE Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony.

WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH William Regal and Tajiri defeated La Resistance and The Hurricane and Rosey via DQ from La Resistance to retain their titles.

Viscera defeated Val Venis with Viscera hitting an embalmer on Val Venis. Simon Dean and Maven defeated The Team of CM Punk (CM Punk & Russell Simpson) with a double throw down type move and the pin by Maven. World Tag-Team Title Match William Regal and Tajiri defeated La Resistance with the green mist to the eyes of Rob Conway and a Shining Wizard.
